The art of bending steel wire so uniformly is a feat that manufacturer Currey & Company's craftspeople know quite well. The Postscript Pendant is an example of the fine detailing artisanal treatments achieve. The metal ribs that arc above and below the white diffuser gleam in a contemporary gold leaf finish. A design detail of note is how the rings that hold the wire in place trim the off-white shantung shade in the same luminous finish. This design has a wonderful 1940s feel reminiscent of Dorothy Draper.
